Literature Text

I tell you that I failed again,
In the same old light.
Everyone falls,
Until we stand up again.

In the same old light,
Nothing is what it seems.
Until we stand up again,
We are surely lost.

Nothing is what it seems.
Everything changes.
We are surely lost,
With no one to turn to.

Everything changes,
Everyone falls.
With no one to turn to,
I tell you that I failed again.
This was my first draft of an english assignment, mainly, to write a pantoum. A pantoum has a pattern that repeats each line twice, the second and fourth lines become the first and third lines of the next and so on, until the lsat stanza, in which the first and third lines of the first stanza become the second and fourth lines of the last stanza, except reverse.

I know, confusing.

The poem is also supposed to rhyme abab, but since this was my draft I didn't rhyme it.
